These cams have been proven in our motor builds over the last few years. We are finally comfortable enough with their performance to offer them to you to bolt in your own motor. These cams are regrinds but we have yet to have a single issue with any of our regrinds in this application. The hydraulic lifters function as they should and we have seen no wear issues to speak of. We are offering this particular grind as a catch all since it is what 99% of our customers will require. Stock b234 cams run out of steam a little after 6000rpm in our experience. Depending on the application and setup 7500~8000 rpm seems to work just fine on these with minimal bottom end power penalty. If you are looking for that lopey race car idle these will be disappointing. If you are looking to free up the upper rpms on your 16v then this is it. We have run them with good results in turbo and non turbo applications. Our upgraded valve springs are a must with any turbo application and a good idea with this cam in a NA. As these are regrinds we offer a core refund. You will receive a $100 refund for your good usable stock 16v cam shafts. We have plenty of cores in stock.
