These are CNC machined from ¼ inch phenolic. The idea is to isolate the intake manifold form the head and keep it form heat soaking. This kit uses phenolic which does not transfer heat very well. They are ¼ to minimize excessive runner length and to minimally affect fit of ic piping or intake pipes. The kit includes one piece phenolic spacer, and 9 manifold to head bolts.
