Specification

This clutch disk is a direct replacement for the stock volvo clutch but has a ford 10 spline hub in it.  This is the same clutch disk we used in our 400whp 242 along with a dual diaphragm pressure plate.  This disk will hold as much power as the stock volvo disk.   Consider this a stock setup that works with a t5 transmission. 

 

Please be advised this is NOT a performace clutch setup.   It is of very high quality but with a stock pressue plate will hold no more than a stock volvo clutch.  If you are making more than ~200whp you really need to look into one of our performance clutch packages.

Ford T5 plate in a Triumph !

Completed a Ford T5 conversion in my 1971 Triumph TR6. I used the T5 bolted to the cut off front section of the Triumph 4 speed transmission. the pressure plate was the original Triumph unit, and i used the Ford 10 spline 8.5" clutch disc. I've just completed 3000 miles with no issues,, so I guess it works fine.JOHN BURTON (2 Oct 2021, 09:22)
